Historical Estate with 3 Private Villas in Tuscany
» Villa Edera | » Villino Leccio Antico | » Tre Querce Cottage
Formerly
an original Tuscan farmhouse built in the early
1900, the estate Fattoria La Sciolta was used
for many years as elegant hunting lodge by Vasco
Magrini and his friend Benito Mussolini;
Vasco Magrini was a famous Florentine aviator and also well known as winner of several car races and air competitions. The estate was later inhabited by the known family of Finzi Contini that used the villa as their own private library spending the time to read in the complete peace of this preserved country area.
Today
the estate Fattoria La Sciolta is a superb Tuscan residence
with a perfect, secluded location: a tree-lined private country road
leads to the property made of the main independent
villa - Villa Edera - and two
smaller houses – Villino Leccio
Antico and Tre Querce Cottage - both with
their own independent gardens and entrances.
The three houses are set in a breathtaking natural surrounding with a unique full circle panorama of olive groves, woodland and they are located at a few steps from the pool, the gardens and the characteristic "wild" wood where hares, pheasants, wild boars and fallow-dears wander at night.
The
management of the estate Fattoria La Sciolta is familiar
and the owners Gabriella and Cristiano
are always present to solve their guests’ needs and requests.
The whole estate can be rented weekly and it is also possible to rent the apartments or the individual rooms in B&B service according to the seasons and special events.
