Spend an unforgettable holiday at Fattoria La Sciolta.  Here you can relax in the uncontaminated nature that surround the house, enjoying  typical Tuscan dishes, drinking  an aperitif in one of the wide open spaces or on a terrace overlooking the Tuscan countryside, or during the cold season, sitting around the fireplace to share your experiences with family and friends.

ACTIVITIES at FATTORIA LA SCIOLTA

Walking - Horseback riding - Mountain biking – Trekking - Fishing our homes are surrounded by a natural 370 acre park with its private lake,  age-old trees and olive groves where you can walk, horse riding, mountain biking  to explore our surroundings. The ancient Via Francigena that runs alongside us up to San Gimignano gives you the opportunity to reach places otherwise difficult to get to by other means.  

Motorbike routes our location is surrounded by the most beautiful and fun pathways to ride motorbike or scooters as the Via Volterrana an Via Chiantigiana as well as hundreds white roads that cross our wonderful green valleys -  Val d' Elsa and Val D' Era  - down to the shores of the Tyrrhenian sea.

Olive oil harvesting and pressing olives is an unforgettable experience. We organize workshops for groups led by experts in recognizing and clarifying various information on this important product

Wine & Olive Oil  Tasting you can taste the wines produced directly by farmer's association we are part of , savoring Tuscan hors d’oeuvres and appetizers, and it is possible to visit the farm and its wine  cellar. In our farm is  possible to make the olive oil tasting that will be accompanied by rich snacks of "bruschetta" toasted bread covered with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, salt and pepper.

Cooking classes  we organize cooking classes for small and larger groups to let you learn and cook some of the most famous dishes of the Tuscan tradition.  At the end of a lesson all the participants will be able to sit in the villa's dining room and taste the dishes accompanied by local wines. 

Themed Dinners we organize special dinners during which our guests can taste  typical Tuscan food and local seasonal products as the extra virgin olive oil produced in our hills, the aromatic San Miniato truffle receipts,  the delicious soup with the onions of Certaldo, the special dishes with wild-boar of our forest and many other delights of the Tuscan cuisine.

Painting the environment around us is a peaceful heaven where you can escape from the pressures of everyday life and give full vent to your creativity and passion for painting. During your stay you can also request to have one or more meetings with a professional teacher or attend a real class and visit Tuscany in a more artistic and creative way.

Every year along with our association, we organize an event called "Atelier d’ Artista" where artists from all over the world work for a whole week in a conceptual art studio dedicated to the influence of nature on art. It is an entire week of Art events, music and wine tasting.

Excursions and guided tours  it is possible to organize excursions around the Chianti cities and all over Tuscany, we will suggest special tours and indicate the most charming places to visit. We will give you maps and road- information.
